IPS Almere Preschool and Afterschool
The (pre-school) Learning Programme
Our pre-school programme offers internationally orientated (English speaking) care where children, between 2 and 4 years of age, are guided through the use of play as an important method of learning. International Primary School Almere (IPS Almere) will be running the pre-school in conjunction with Partou, a Dutch daycare company.
The Preschool curriculum will be based on the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS) from the UK. The EYFS Framework explains how and what your child will be learning to support their healthy development.
At Partou you can count on excellent care of your child in a safe and loving surrounding. Personal attention and having fun come first. There is always a team member available for your son or daughter, even when the situation is a bit hectic. Partou is also the spot where fantasy and imagination are given a free rein. We inspire the children by offering them surprising activities, which help them to explore the world in a playful manner. Every day something special, that is Partou!
The IPS Almere is a diverse, international community of students, parents and educators, forging covenants in learning and teaching for the success of all learners. Therefore, it fully believes and commits itself to integrate individual diversity and cultures.
Students are expected to attend at least three periods during the week. All children will eat lunch at home. The teacher of the pre-school programme will be a native English speaking professional.
The facility will be located in the school building of IPSAlmere / Letterland School. Our days of operation will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with the intention to expand the hours of operation to include the Friday in the future.
